The June Ilott Fund was established in 2022 in memory of the late Ms June Ilott to support master's students in Medical Sciences. The donor's intention is that the scholarship supports an applicant who would not otherwise be able to take up their place without financial support.

Scholarship value

The June Ilott Fund scholarship will cover:

  • Full course fees
  • UKRI-level stipend for the duration of fee liability (pro-rated for part-time courses)

Eligibility

Applicants to any full- or part-time master's course in Medical Sciences, who have:

  1. applied by the December deadline for their programme, and
  2. are identified by the Graduate School, through information supplied on the graduate application form, as being socio-economically disadvantaged

will be considered for the scholarship. Following the initial eligibility check, selection will be based on academic merit.
